Fruit & Vegetable Program

Our goal: Teach the children about the nutritional benefits of eating fruits and vegetables so that they can make their own healthy food choices.

The Key Messages of the Program:

  • Pick local fruits and vegetables – Eat locally!
  • Pick a variety of colourful fruits and vegetables
  • Enjoy eating 5 to 10 servings of fruits and vegetables every day
  • Wash hands before eating
  • Wash fruits and vegetables before eating
