Fruit & Vegetable Program
Our goal: Teach the children about the nutritional benefits of eating fruits and vegetables so that they can make their own healthy food choices.
The Key Messages of the Program:
- Pick local fruits and vegetables – Eat locally!
- Pick a variety of colourful fruits and vegetables
- Enjoy eating 5 to 10 servings of fruits and vegetables every day
- Wash hands before eating
- Wash fruits and vegetables before eating
